This year on the occasion of International women’s day we are celebrating #Balanceforbetter. #WomenofInfiniti speaks from their life how they are able to #Breakingtheceiling and create an identity for themselves.
Being Strong : Srividya (Manager- Quality Analyst Team)
“Great things start from humble beginnings” – This is very true for my life. I started as a tester, and today I lead a team of seventeen, the Quality Analyst team of Infiniti. I realized there were a lot of opportunities around me which I can seize. I spend hours knowing more about my work. I knew when we are truly good, the world recognizes our expertise.
There will be hurdles but how well we cross over defines the resilience in us.
The desire to lead inspired me to keep learning, upgrading and implementing ideas. As my team grew, I learned to be a good listener and be a support to my team members. Nothing worth comes easy in life. So, be it position or respect I had to work hard to gain it. #Breakingtheceiling requires being strong in every circumstance. I didn’t allow others opinion or treatment to divert me from your purpose. There will be hurdles but how well we cross over defines the resilience in us.
Becoming the best version of myself: Deepa ( Team Leader – IT)
I come from a small town of Tamil Nadu. While growing up I always wanted to have my own identity. I joined Infiniti seven years back as a software trainee. Initially, I felt isolated, but I made efforts to blend in with others. In the span of my career, I learned the only way to grow through anything is by changing ourselves and not trying to change others. I want my work to speak for me.

Whatever tasks I am entrusted with I take them as challenges. And see to it I deliver them correctly. I feel happy that I have earned the trust of Infiniti. My credibility makes them assign responsibilities of critical projects. In my view #Breakingtheceiling happens when you don’t compete with anyone. Instead, you become your competitor. It’s every time you become a better version of yourself.
Knowing I have no limits: Amala ( Manager – Business Analyst)
I was raised to be an independent woman, treated equally and given opportunities just like my brother. It gives me an immense sense of accomplishment when I do things on my own. I started my career as an IT professional in an MNC. My career was soaring. However, I got conceived and had to stay back home to take care of my daughter. Being a mom inspired me to rethink on my dreams. After a break of two years, I joined Infiniti as a Tester.
I have never tried to hold myself back whenever I get an opportunity.
However, the management was quick to notice my expertise and gave me the opportunity to work as a business analyst. Following I was asked to lead the business analyst team. I believe if you have the right talent and attitude you will never go unnoticed. I have never tried to hold myself back whenever I get an opportunity. I first accept it and then give my best to achieve it. This helps me in #Breakingtheceiling knowing I have no limits.
